Maraknya fenomena perundungan yang terjadi di sekolah dan menindaklanjuti Nota Dinas Nomor 01901/Kadin/IX/2023 tanggal 27 September tentang Sosialisasi Pencegahan dan Penanganan Kekerasan di Satuan Pendidikan dan hasil rekomendasi dari rapor Pendidikan, SLB Negeri Sragen menggelar Sosialisasi Penanggulangan Kekerasan dan Perundungan Anak yang dilaksanakan selama dua hari pada tanggal 30-31 Oktober 2023 dengan menggandeng Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk, Keluarga Berencana, Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (DPPKBP3A) Kabupaten Sragen.
Bapak Supriyanto, S.Pd selaku ketua pelaksana kegiatan menyatakan bahwa sosialisasi Penanggulangan Kekerasan dan Perundungan Anak digelar dalam upaya memberikan pemahaman kepada para siswa, wali murid dan guru. Tujuannya, untuk meningkatkan kesadaran, mendorong empati serta memberikan strategi pencegaran terjadinya perundungan.
Kegiatan sosialisasi ini dihadiri oleh 100 peserta yang terdiri dari 10 orang perwakilan dari wali murid, 22 orang perwakilan dari siswa dan 70 orang guru dan karyawan.
Kegiatan sosialisasi dibuka oleh Kasi SMA/ SLB cabdin VI bapak Sigit Susilo, SE. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pemaparan materi oleh DPPKBP3A yang menjelaskan bahwa perilaku perundungan (bullying) tidak hanya kekerasan secara fisik dan verbal. Perilaku bullying ini dibedakan menjadi tiga yaitu bullying secara fisik, verbal, dan bullying yang terbaru yaitu cyber bullying.
“Sosialisasi kekerasan dan perundungan merupakan langkah yang penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang aman dan mendukung. Dengan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, diharapkan dapat mengurangi insiden kekerasan dan perundungan serta menciptakan masyarakat yang lebih peduli dan empatik terhadap sesame” tutur kepala sekolah, Ibu Mardani, S.Pd.
